Love is Love Wedding Giveaway | Cassie + Amber
If you've been following the Love is Love wedding giveaway you know the story. But for those of you that are just seeing this I'd love to tell you the story of how this came to be. The love and dedication behind this event literally blows my mind.
It all started just after the courts decision to legalize same-sex marriage. I was so excited about the announcement that I posted a free wedding photography giveaway on my blog. Within an hour my friend Kate Goddard of Wild Sky Events contacted me with news that she along with Cassie from Catering with a Twist would also like to be a part of the giveaway. The love snowballed from there and over the course of the next month or so we had more and more vendors contact us to be a part. By the time the wedding came around we were able to giveaway a full wedding worth roughly $60,000 to the lucky couple whose name we drew. All of the vendors who are listed below, went above and beyond. Prospect House was so gracious in donating their gorgeous venue located in Dripping Springs for the event. The Driskill even donated a honeymoon suite after the nights end. I can't begin to express my gratitude to all the wonderful vendors who made this day possible. Congrats to the couple Cassie + Amber and congrats to all the same-sex couples out there who have fought long and hard for their day of equal rights and legalized marriage.
