Austin Downtown Engagement Session | Maria + Guillermo
Guillermo had to take his pup into the vet one day and he couldn’t help but take notice of Maria who was the veterinarian. Needless to say, he left with a healthy pup and a full heart. For their engagement session they wanted a fun and playful shoot highlighting the downtown Austin scene and buildings. We started at the Austin Central Library then walked around Seaholm district laughing and have a great time in spite of the cold weather.

Lucian a is senior at Anderson High School who will be attending Rockhurst University in Kansas City.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I love to dance, I’ve been dancing since I was three years old and I am on my school’s drill team!
Q: What do you plan to study?
A: I hope to study biology or kinesiology in college and once I’m out of school, I’d like to be a physical therapist.
Q: What is a favorite memory about High School?
A: My senior year is one that will go down in the history books, although it hasn’t been ideal, this year has been on of new experiences and self growth that I will treasure with me for years to come.
Q: What are some favorite books, music or movies?
A: I love the Harry Potter series, both the books and the movies! My favorite show would have to be NCIS or Criminal Minds! My favorite song at the moment is Good Days by SZA.
Q: Tell me about your style and your outfits for the photoshoot.
A: I take lots of my fashion inspiration from the 90’s and the early 2000’s! I wore a two pieces nude pink set that was actually the dress that I wore for my Quinceañera! I took the top from that set and paired it with some Doc Martens and black cargo pants from Brandy Melville. For my next outfit I wore a black faux leather top with my favorite pair of Levi’s and velvet boots from Steve Madden. And for my last and favorite outfit, a green slip dress with black print from Nordstrom Rack and chunky boots also from Steve Madden!
Q: What did you like about taking your senior pictures?
A: Lisa was so enthusiastic and made me feel super relaxed and excited to be taking pictures with her! She made it so fun and I’m so happy with how my pictures came out! She took the time to work with me and my own unique style and she well exceeded my expectations! I would love to shoot with her again!
